OUR ETHOs

Farming for Nature, Sharing for
People

At Totara Hills we farm with purpose: to produce quality food while restoring native habitats, protecting
wildlife, and sharing knowledge so visitors leave with more care for this place than when they arrived.

Regenerative farming

We prioritise soil health, diverse pasture, and low-impact livestock practices to build resilience and reduce chemical inputs.

Conservation first

Large areas of regenerating native forest are protected and actively restored – providing habitat for native birds.

Education & connection

We create hands-on experiences that connect people to food systems, seasonal rhythms and local ecology.
